Help!
the hot water flow from my boiler has gradually decreased over the months and how there is not enough flow to ignite the gas .

Diaphragm in diverter valve is ok. I think there may be filters in the pipes that need to be cleaned. where would I find them? Any ideas ? :(
Prompt help appreciated.

There is usually a gauze filter in the inlet to the diverter valve.

Its more likely ot be a problem of a blockage in the secondary heat exchanger.

It can be a bit tricky deciding where a restriction actually occurs.

I would use a connector to a hose on the outlet of the diverter valve to see if that flow rate is OK ( 10 li/min plus! ).

If that was OK then I would probably take out the heat exchanger and pass water through it to test it in preparation for descaling it ( most would just change it as thats quicker and easier).

I might also try descaling the secondary side in situ using my small power flushing pump.
