Worcester 24CDi Boiler - Hot water comes on intermittently

There is no conflict of opinion on your fault.

But it is a job many professionals like to pass by.

There is no way that you will be able to manage to replace the diverter valve yourself. Unless you are superhuman!

Most replace the complete valve, but some only the diaphragm although that involves a lot of dismantling. If you have plenty of space underneath and some nice little tools it can be done in situ. But still not a very nice job.

let her have a try then she will realise why its not cheap to get a professional to do it , good luck (y)

The first time I did one the mains water pressure connection behind leaked and I had to start all over again.

Since then been lucky perhaps.

But my main fear is all the little filling loop bits at the front breaking. I try to go with spares.
