My mum Worcester 9.24 combination boiler which is now 17yrs old, the hot taps water flow is poor and the water is a lot hotter than usual, the heating via the radiators is okay. Is it repairable or may need a new boiler(?) The cold main water pressure is about the same as before.

only realistic thing you can do is check the filter and flow restrictor on the water inlet
other than that i would get someone in with a pump to descale it
