For saying Worcester are "supposed" to be so good compared to all the other crap out there, there seems to be an awful lot of posts on them here at the minute..........

Is the number of post on here, about worcester boilers, of a higher proportion than other makes?

Not sure about Worcester gas boilers, but worcester Oil boilers are crap. Who ever designed them must have a sadistic streak.. a real pain to install and terrible to service. Even Worcesters 'service' technicians wont change the oil filter when they service a boiler, even though its an Oftec regulation to change the filter every 12 months!

I fing replacing the PRV on most modern Worcesters a real 'joy'.
Its quicker sometimes to take the boiler off the wall IMO.

i asked worcester sales rep why they hid the PRV. "to stop installers and servicing engineers using them as a drain off sir". worcester are now the PRV morality police it seems.

I always held the believe that WB were at best a mediocre boilers with good brand marketing... looking at this forum feel i have been proved right in spades.

out of the calls i have for frozen condensates 70% WB, 25% ideal(warmfront installs) and the last 5% every other make.

I tried to keep my views to my self as i may not like them does not mean anything to other installers who like to shout you down for "slagging off there brand"
