I had this boiler installed yesterday and am having a slight problem with it.

In the shower this morning the water kept going stone cold every two minutes for about 5 seconds.

Before I get the installer back out is there anything obvious I am missing or a setting I need to change? Seems odd that it is hot for 2 minutes and then goes cold, like it is cutting out for some reason.

I didn't notice any problems yesterday when we both had baths.

check your shower is compatable with a combi. did your old system take hot water from a cylinder? or was it a combi?

does the boiler go to reset?

The old system was a combo. Cold is fed from a loft tank and shower is set to low pressure because of this. We didn't have any issues on the old boiler.

If the taps are fine then it points to a problem with the shower, either a fault or compatibility.

Ok, I will double check the taps tonight.

Thanks for the help.

Edit: Not sure if it makes a difference but when it goes cold the water is still coming out of the boiler, you can tell because it is high pressure.

Just to update I plumbed the cold into the mains and cured the problem.

Still have to get the installer back though because the boiler is weeping from the cold water input, the bottom panel for the boiler is also missing.
