your wiring wont be the same as that as yours is a single channel hive (correctly) that wiring is a duel channel hive so your wiring is different

It will also need a wire link adding to join together Hive terminals L and 1 Common.
If you find it's necessary to open up the boilers sealed combustion chamber to access the wiring terminals then it's not a DIY job, it should be done by an RGI who can make the necessary safety checks afterwards. With some boilers this is the case, with others it's not.
I believe that there may also be different variants of the 8000, a bit like the Ford Focus boilers change over time. So, if your boilers wiring connections are different post back the details.
