:D Hi, in answer to your post CN, CI, CL are for use with a external programmer, RN, RI, RL are for use with an external room stat. With the drayton programmable stat being battery operated you dont need a live supply to feed the drayton, just a piece of 2 core flex - boiler will supply it's own voltage out of "CI" - so 1 wire in here(lets says brown wire), the other end of the brown witre goes into "C" on the drayton. When a demand is put on the drayton a switch makes inside and voltage comes out of "ON" connection on the drayton(lets say you wire the blue wire in here) this voltage goes then terminal "CL"(so blue wire in here) Important to leave the link in between "RI and "RL" ............It's seemples !
