I am a EON engineer and i love it,been with them 2 months.

Most of the bg guys who I know who migrated over there are very happy with it, lots less time pressures and no performance targets. Seems to be less overtime and extra bonus earning opportunities though.

You seem to be doing private jobs as well (previous post) Do you have your own Registration and if so what is Eon's stance on this?

How much is the pay if you don't mind me asking.

This vacancy implies that the do the same as BG.:

Is it true 7 jobs a day and no appliances over 7 year old

how could a company survive providing such a narrow service? pointless.

They couldn't but they could gain a very solid foothold in the market with a good reputation while expanding the business.

they could, but if their t+c's are anything like the other lot, whos name escapes me, they are not covering anything near what BG does....we need bigcheese to spill the beans :D

Their t+c's are different to the others Nickso, their business model is based on bg homecare but they are currently giving engineers time to do the jobs to build up a reputation.

Bg have used a lot of secret customers recently to try and sound out the e-on service and reports from all the other managers I have spoken to is that the service is excellent.

BG had better watch then.

ive heard some of them dont even cover the cylinder.

my only knowledge of the E.on service standards is the alledged act of rolling out some gimmicky red carpet for every customer on entry to the house. thats reason enough not to work for them, a load of nonsense thought out by a politician manager, lets hope for their sake they dont get swamped in them like BG are.
