Hi
I'm replacing my kitchen worktops and have decided on Duropal.
However, when I checked the measurements I noticed that my cabinets require a worktop approx 640mm wide. Duropal worktops are 600mm wide.
The only thing i can think of is to buy the breakfast bar which is more than wide enough and ask a joiner to slice a strip off the length to bring the width to 640mm.
Is there any reason why i shouldnt do this (dont know if the back of the worktops are sealed in some way?).
Thanks
Faulkus

Thats the way to do it....it could be an idea to seal the raw edge against water ingress though. Use varnish or similar sealer.
John :)
