Would a 1995 build home contain asbestos?

Hi,
I am new to the forum. I live in a 1995 build home I would like all the artex ceilings skimmed, kitchen wall knocked down to make a door into the garage. However is it likely that the house will contain Asbestos? When we bought the house there was nothing on the survey which said Asbestos though. Anyone had any experience of finding Asbestos in 90's build homes?
I am very concerned about it all!

It was banned as a building material in 1999

HSE has some info http://www.hse.gov.uk/asbestos/hiddenkiller/facts.htm , i work in a factory where there are asbestos walls and it is safe unless disturbed its the fibres when broke that can harm you.

Breathing in inner city air is more harmful. Too much scaremongering going on with asbestos.

Some of that blue stuff they lag the pipes with is pretty dire though.

Perhaps best if I got a survey done? Although surely by 1995 substitute materials could of been used?

All these possible exposures have been in the house! Where control of Asbestos regulations 2012 don't apply.

Asbestos in the ceilings will help to protect you from a fire in the garage breaking through the door into the rest of the house.
