Without hesitation, often thought about how I'd make a grand exit though...
 
I’d finished off all the work I’ve booked in and then put my feet up.

It’s lot of money, I hope he’s got good advise and invests most of it.

Agreed. Hope it doesn't get spent all on cars.

I would buy a couple of houses and put them on rent, invest in some dividends and spend my free time on DIYnot. (y) ;)

Oof; you might be able to find an FA who will get you a similar percentage return on the investments, and not have the hassle of tenants..

If you won the lottery, would you quit your job? I would.
Probably not. I would rearrange my life priorities considerably though

By the sounds of it though, he's already a happy and positive chap.

That's something money can't buy.

Some years back I read about a decorator who won something like 7 mil and he said he was going to buy a new van, then you hear about the people who win big and spunk it all away. Sounds like he'll stay grounded.
