I bought a pair of cartridges for the bathroom taps, which were dripping. Originally the taps both opened anti-clockwise as per convention but now they open anticlockwise - hot and clockwise - cold, in other words I got a set for a lever tap. I fitted them thinking it wouldn't matter but now I'm irritated that I didn't take them back and 'er indoors is tutting every time she gets the cold tap wrong and splashes herself. 
What should I have asked for? Can I reverse the internals of the cold cartridge?
