What drives a lot of illegal migration isn't fear of persecution it is the prospect of success,migrants know that the West is governed by corrupt politically correct cowards so if the illegals push hard enough the doors will open for them.

i listened to newsnights Evan Davis comments about Hungary's handling of the migrant crisis he reckons they are being to heavy handed, i wonder how a country like Israel would respond if 10's of 1000's of migrants stormed their borders

That's the trouble with these TV put-the-world-to-rights journalists. They really pile it on trying to convince us that these poor 'refugees' are starving (yet at the same time throwing away food!) and deserve all the help we can give.

I applaud what Hungary are doing. They are at present the only country that can see sense and can foresee the consequences of allowing all these people in, although Germany, Austria and Denmark are also beginning to understand too. I'm sure that the lefty hand-wringers will be deploring the use of gas and water cannon, but it does seem to be keeping the economic migrant swarm at bay.

I know exactly what Israel would do. So do the migrants, which is why they haven't chanced their arm. They know that the wishy washy western Europe countries (including us, of course - especially us!) are a much easier pushover, and they are fully aware of the undemocratic EU's insisting that all their 'members' (underlings) take in a quota.

I wonder how many times this clip of the ever so unfortunate ones throwing away food and water has been shown on the bbc news / news at 10?
The more I see these things, the more I feel I'm seeing economic migrants and not genuine refugees. And the the more I see these things the less I want them here...
If only all the other countries had the balls of Hungary. Mind you, I don't think for one second the Czech Republic or Slovakia would stand for this either..

It's been suggested that Germany needs more workers to make up for it low indigenous birth rate. If that's true, this seems to be a very odd way of running an immigration policy. I think they need to be more careful about the types of people they invite in. They will soon find that they are more of a liability than an asset.

It won;t be long before tens of thousands are massed on Germany's borders, but considering they are there at the invitation of Merkel - they'll have to let them in. Ten thousand per week month after month. I reckon the stupidity of Merkel will mean she has to resign. Only a fresh leader can refuse them entry. Then watch the riots start.
