Wylex plug in MCB tines.

Ahem, yes, well, now you know the school I went to as well!!

Just to give the game away to everyone else, it was a posh private boarding school, paid for by a distant relative who told my Grandmother, "give the boy an education"... In what, he didn't specify!!

How to say, "Ey up, lad? Ow's tha doin'?" & "Y'areet, cock?" for starters!

Well for a local like me, that description is a gead give away....lol

youll have to come back for a beer sometime and look us up...Mr Quaker ;-)..lol

No, not me, I'm not of any persuasion...

That pub at the top of the hill still there? Pass school on r/h/s, pub on left at top of hill?

Not been back for nearly quarter of a century....!

Yeah, we tried to get booze several times but failed every time. Wonder if they're still as strict?

But the newsagent down the road (before you get to pub on r/h/s) used to sell us 10 B&H all the time. I think my first pack was something silly like less than 20p. About the same price as a Cornetto when they were launched the following year...

But the other newsagent (probably long gone now) was on the r/h/s of the main road having turned left out of the school, a bit further down past some fields (which is probably a housing estate, now!).

He would sell us anything except the foreign cigs (french stuff etc) because "they were too strong for young throats" :!:
