Hi, I know there are a number of threads on this topic but they're all rather old. I have a very large, old property - 24 rads and at least one separate loop. So I've drained the system down and refilled with a good dose of Sentinel X800. Once it's had a chance to loosen all the gunk, I'm going to powerflush the system. The advice is always to drain down and then flush, but my question is - will the powerflush get rid of all the X800 in the system and replace with clean water, making the drain down superfluous? I'm not trying to cut corners but due to there being a seperate loop and a cellar, the drain down is a right faff to do it properly.
