Xpelair fan black rubber bits

Hi,

I am having a GX9 fan installed in a window. Together with the ladder strips there are a couple of small black rubber bits in the box. Can someone tell me what these rubber bits are for ? They are not mentioned in the instructions.

Shape and size please.

Could they be a watertight grommet for the cable entry?

Or something to prevent pressure on the glass?

Packers. Glass isn't always flat.

Long time since ive seen them, but didnt they fit on the ladder strip where it passes through the glass, or possibly between the body and the glass, to do with releaving the pressure on the glass to reduce the risk of cracking it
