Yale mortice lock

Does anyone know the number order that the zinc plates go in please the lock was taken apart but the person didn’t think to look at how the plates went or what number order they go I have 2 x 3
2 x2 and 1 x 4 lock is not turning at all so think the plates are in wrong I have tried various combinations but to no avail any help would
Be greatly appreciated thanks!!

Place key in lock with plates absent , rotate to 12oclock position. Add plates checking they just touch the key slots while the centre of the plate should align centrally.You should then have them in the correct order and can reassemble .
