Looking at changing our door locks & handles and were trying to measure up the lock barrel we've borrowed my sister's barrel as she lives down the road and has the same house as ours shes got a Yale Platinum lock barrel 50/50mm do you reckon this is the correct size or would it be better to go for the 45mm/45mm inside?

Mrs is saying it'll be okay if it sticks out a little as long as its just on the inside?

  3. Personally think a 50/45 or maybe even a 50/40 would look better.

50 on the exterior was abit too big as I had to tighten the screws alot to close the gap around the edge of the handle.

Annoying as the slave door seems to be a different size

Yep I've gone for 45/45 we notice the barrel more as we've also changed the handles which are thinner

I've already ordered the locks now.

The slave door was slightly annoying as I had to order 45/50mm for that
