Yale Smart Sync Home alarm won't arm

This alarm has been running since December and has proved really easy to use and configure but it's started acting oddly. Basically it won't arm or should I say stay armed. If I set the alarm via the app it turns to fully armed for 20 seconds but then just reverts back to disarmed. I thought it might be a dodgy contact sensor so I removed it remotely from the system but the same issue has occurred. This is really bugging me and obviously I have no alarm system currently. Any one got any ideas or experience with this fault?

it should have an event log, so what does it say on that.

also not familiar with this alarm, but does it have geo location?

if yes can the geo location be set to disarm the system (if yes when the phone is close the system would disarm).
 
UPDATE: It said side door open which is the contact switch I then removed from the system to see if that would fix it. I tried manually disarming it by using the alarm key pad. I first disarmed it even though it said it was disarmed and rearmed it and now it's working fine again. I was trying to arm it via the online app but that wasn't working. Anyway all is good now.
