We've had the alarm for around 12 years, and one of the PIR sensors has had batteries leak inside it at 1 point, which as a result it still works, but now seems to drain batteries within 2 months instead of them lasting 2-3 years as they did previously. Also the little keypad you can carry around the house has also seen better days. Almost everything else we have is fine.
Does anyone know or successfully used any other Yale PIRs or accessories with the system successfully. My thoughts were the ranges to most likely be compatible would be the SR or EF series.
Not overly keep on replacing the system, as like how it uses GSM instead of the Internet, and the small keypad is always carried upstairs at night to part arm the house from the bedroom, which seem to be something you only get with Yale alarms unless I am missing it when looking at other brands.
