Hi all, ive got a yale premium wireless alarm system, set it as always last night at bed time, got up this morning to no life in the control panel.

No alarm activated but i just cant use it now, any ideas?

I never noticed anything different on the panel prior to this

Thanks

the power cable is, of course, plugged in?

If the power was off or the alarm switched off then it would have been impossible to set it the evening before.

What could be relevant is if the power to the socket has failed since the evening before.
If the warning beep had been turned off in the adv settings menu then it is possible the panels internal battery could deplete overnight as it has a 10hr standby rating.

The transformer itself may be faulty or the circuit that powers it has tripped.

In either case normally this would result in an 'ac power failure' fault being shown and logged in the panel along with a red light and 30 second warning beep.

First test has to be to take the panel off its bracket and plug it in to a socket that is known to work.
