I have an NBRU200 by Yorktank and need a new sacrificial anode but as they are no longer in business unsure of where to source parts.

Would prefer not to take the old one out to obtain a match as do not want to be without use of cylinder for too long.

Any idea of compatible part and source?

Does a sacrificial anode need to be fixed to the cylinder? If not, couldn't you just drop one in and let it sit at the bottom? Wouldn't matter much what design it was then.

i dont know what the op 's system is but i will bet it is fixed but isolated from the tank, as it has to be electricaly connected

i do know of one that uses silver and copper, not a lot of good thugh in a copper tank, i think the copper is the anode, bye bye tank

the anode is inserted in the side of the tank approx 1/2 way up so would prefer to stick with this method
