zannussi aqua cycle 1200 earth wiring?

after having a look at my washing machine i found that the belt had stripped and had pulled few wires off. I am now stuch as to where the earth goes? the main feed comes down from the top to the point where there are 2 wires grey and black sit then it y branches from there down to the motor itself. So i am left with the 3rd earth wire which is bullet connector style but cannot see where it should go?
can anyone help plz?

I suspect your 3rd earth wire is the drum earth. Some models have a threaded stud that sticks out of the tub (just behind the pulley) & the earth cable is connected to that. Others have a female bullet connector in the same place. Your earth cable (with a male bullet end) fits into that. Be sure the cable is routed in the plastic slots on the back of the tub otherwise it might get fouled in the belt/pulley.

hi there thanks..i have the wires on at the drum and the motor, but there is a 3rd wire which is quite long just cant see where it goes?

Then it has to be the heater element earth wire, but this always has a spade connector. Post machine pnc nomber.
