Zanussi Nexus, various problems!

Been have a few problems. Firstly leaking intermittently, then dirty marks on clothes and then finally water wouldn't drain. Someone suggested checking fluff filter, when i opened it smelly water came out and it was caked is gunk (The machine was here when I moved in and I havent checked it for the 2 years I've been here). Would there be anything else wrong or is it likely that that was the cause?

you need to do 3 or 4 service washes - that might sort it out

hottest wash - nothing in it - big mug of vinegar & lid of bleach in the detergent draw

also check the grey door seal. give that a wipe with strong detergent inside and out and check for any tears or holes
