Zanussi ZWF16070W not stopping

Hi, I have a Zanussi ZWF16070W , the machine seems not to be stopping, it goes through cycles, then the start pause button lights up red, when i press the button to start again! The same is happening, until i switch it to spin and drain. Taking forever.
When i held both buttons for an error code i think it is 5red 2green.
Any help i would be grateful.

E52 is a motor fault most likely just the carbon brushes worn down.
