Zenith 12.5mm compact laminate worktops, which is the best cutting blade?

Hi All,

Only have 10-15 cuts to do on some of this stuff, I hear it's a nightmare. I'm going to do 4mm increment plunge cuts to help the blade life and was told any carbide triple chip blade will be OK, but will dull quickly. Has anyone cut compact laminate before and if so, what blades worked best?

I have a Festool TS55 165mm diameter x 20mm bore) and I've done Trespa HPL with the Festool 56 tooth special blade. This blade is made by Leitz for Festool and is specifically designed for high pressure laminates. I think that pretty much any high tooth count TCG blade would do what you want. These sorts of materials generate lots of dust when cutting so a vacuum cleaner is advisable
