Zinc plated screws vs black ones

I have a load of 32mm zinc plated (silver) drywall single thread screws with a self starting point. i think these are for metal frames, rather than timber stud walls.

I intend to use these to fix 12.5mm plasterboard to timber studs. Will these suffice?

Or should i buy slightly longer black screws?

Metal stud screws, wont take to timber too well. Purchase the drywall screws mean't for timber or you will have a frustrating time.

They also have a sharper, more open thread and are far easier to drive in.
