We have a ZIp instantanious water heater in our flat ,since fitting a mixer tap and non return valves it has started playing up and say's its over heating . Has anyone heard of these heaters.??? Is there anything else we could use to heat our water as we are all electric ,we had a emersion heater befor but we had loads of trouble with it and had it removed in the end..

What make/model of ZIP Electric water heater do you have, is it Vented or Unvented? if vented it may be that your new tap is not suitable as some vented water heaters use a special Vented Tap, which allow the heater to vent via the tap outlet at all times, please check model number etc and re-post Zip heaters do have a web site which may be of help
