any one got / tried this bit of kit?

Well, it's small I suppose. You can get a decent 4 way DVR with a 250GB HD and CD Burner for less than that.

Only joking, it does look a nice dinky piece of kit, would be interested in your opinion once you have set it up. :)

i never got one in the end

i gor a differnt one from maplin, which was a b grade one, cost about £80 less

going to install it later,, only just finished the cameras

looks good for your £

just finished mine, dead easy to set up, not, recording yet, will adjust camera angle in daylight first

mine is all up and running, i liked it so much i have brougt more :)

only thing i will say, if you intend to get some be aware the caameras can only see about 15 feet in the dark with their IR leds, i haave since put up a separate IR led light for the back garden camera, much better now

Breezer looks like a good unit from the price a few questions though.
What size HDD will it take / does it come with
USB / CD retrieval facility
Frame rate against storage capacity
You seem to mention cameras but I can't see a link to those
Does it have RGB connectivity or just BNC

Got a few little upcoming projects where something like this may be useful

Oh and if you feel inclined some pics of the camera quality and set up pls

have you seen the google ad at the bottom?

hd is "optional extra" it takes up to a 250gb

usb / cd retreaval no

frame rate can be altered , obviouly the less frame rate the longer it will record you can adjust the frame rate

i never linked to camera, but i got the el cheapo ones with their own IR leds

I got the colour cameras that change to b/w at night,

the send lot i am getting will be just b/w

all connections are bnc only

cant / wont get pic you would see what i can see. (i dont want to frighten people as they will see me)

over all i would say for its cost it is very good.

downside

hd is optional extra,

cant pass on a pic to authorites , you would have to give whole hd

only has 4 inputs

But what do you expect for just over a ton

i like it, ideal for small shop or resi place i would say

camera

i am putting my normal cameras on the now ordered dvr

oh the cameras do come all ready to go

(but i chopped the leads off so they would go through smaller hole than for a bnc)

I also got a colour tv with freeview for a monitor

Cheers for the info. Just seen the google ad my defence is it was late when I was looking at the post
