SINGLE MUM TRYING TO WIRE BUILT IN D.OVEN & HOB! HELP

I AMMM SO CONFUSED AND WISH ID NEVER THOUGHT OF THIS BLOODY IDEA!!
IVE JUST RIPPED OUT MY KICTEHN..SOLD MY OVEN AND BOUGHT A DOUBLE OVEN WHICH IS INTEGRATED..IM PUTTING IT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE KITCHEN BUT THERE IS ONLY STANDARD PLUG SOCKETS THIS SIDE? THE OVEN IS ELCTRIC AND IS MODEL:

SO DOES ANY ONE KNOW HOW IM GOIGN TO WIRE THIS??
ALSO WITH REGARDS TO A BUILT IN HOB ELECTRIC I AM GOING TO PUT IT ABOVE THE INTEGRATED FRIDGE AND DO THESE JUST PLUG INTO A STANDARD SOCKET..DO THEY COME WITH A PLUG SOCKET..
I HAVE NOOOO IDEA AT ALL ABOUT ELECTRICS..AND I AM SO GUTTED I EVEN TRIED TO MAKE MY KITCEHN NICER AND SOLD MY OLD APPLICAINES
PLEASE COULD SOMEBODY HELP ME..
AND IF I GET AN ELECTRICAN IN TO DO THIS WORK HOW MUCH SHOULD I BE CHARGER..WHERE MY DOUBLE OVER IS GOING THERE IS 2 PLUG SOCKETS ON THE WALL WHICH NEED TO BE MOVED AROUND 10 CM DOWNWARDS SO THEY ARE IN MY CUPBOARD AND IS NOT GETTING IN THE WAY OF THE COOKER...ALSO HE NEEDS TO MOVE A LIGHT SWITCH ANOT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR FRAME FOR THE SAME REASONS.. ALSO HE NEEDS TO WIRE MY COOKER IN..I PRESUME IT WILL BE WIRED INTO ONE OF THE STANDARD SOCKETS WHICH WILL BE IN THE CUBAORD??
HOW MUCH SHOULD I ROUGHLY BE CHARGHED AD I DONT HAVE MUCH MONEY AND CANT AFFORD TO BE KNOCKED!!

The oven you've bought is not suitable for connection via a 13A plug and socket-outlet according to the link. You'll require a dedicated radial circuit installing which isn't surprising as it's a double oven. It's generally single fan assisted ovens which come with a plugtop.
It doesn't mention the rating of the oven in the link you posted, have you looked in the manual? It'll be in either Amps or kW.

i think that what you are doing is definitely a job for an electrician.
why don't you get three different sparks to come round and price up for you that way you will get a fair idea what the cost will be.

REMEMBER!!!! All work carried out in a kitchen is notifiable. so Whoever you get should be part P and issue you with certification!!

DO YOU HAVE A MODERN CONSUMER UNIT (FUSE BOARD). or are they pop out or rewirable or are they the modern switch type??
also do you have a green and yellow cable running from your fuse board to your gas and water that comes into the house?
as these factors will effect what needs to be done.

i am going to now put teh cooker where the point is...there is an elctric boxc poimnt and a gas point there., so i presume this elcectic point will be suitable or my double oven?? ill just need a electrican to wire it up for me..
with regards to a hob im still going to hve to put that on the othrtside of the kitchen...this is the link for the one i think i should get:

i have no points for it..but it does say this hob needs hard wiring? i currently have 2 sockets normal sockets above where this hob is going to go..i guess if it needs hardwiring i wont be able to just plug it in??!!!
im planning to get an electrican in do hardwire this..but how much of a hard job will this be?? isit going to be hard if there is no point there for him?? i have no idea about this stuff AT ALL!!

You can't change a socket for anything that could power the hob you're looking at. The rating is 6.4kW (27.8A at 230v).

You'll more than likely require a new cabling installing back to your consumer unit.

You have a gas point. Use it. It will be cheaper and better to use than any electric appliance. Its the choice of all professional chefs.

Oh and it may well be cheaper to install.

If the appliance comes with a rubber bayonet hose, and you have a bayonet gas point, you could install it yourself, but I would very strongly advise against this, for obvious reasons.

10 minutes of a gas fitters time would be money well spent (compared to several hours / days of a sparks time)

And when she gets them round, should she tell each one that she's getting three quotes, but that only one person will get the work, and that she's not going to pay anything to the two who don't get the work?

Or, should she lie to each one and deny, if asked, that she's getting quotes from anyone else, adopting a shifty-eyed look and averting their gaze? She could fiddle with a blouse button, perhaps? Or bring out a puppy as a distraction?

Or, she could get just one person round - someone who's been recommended as being reliable, trustworthy and competent - and not waste anyone else's time and fuel.

okay


alot of my customers get several quotes and if you had the correct system in place this as an electrician should not take you long to do.
also most of these customers employ me to do the work and i quote them happy.....
i make a very good living and am booked up til the end of november!!!!!


the only electricians i know that don't like customers getting other quotes usually have some thing to hide i,.e high prices or some other thing!!!!
