Hi
I have fitted 3 batten holders across the width of my house and a single switch, in the loft (batten 1 being nearest the loft hatch and switch). The least confused ceiling roses on the first floor ring, are either side of batten 3 (furthest away). I was going to come out of rose 1 with the ring (neutral, loop and earth) and carry it through all three new battens and then rejoin it to rose 2.
Which battens do I connect to the switch?
1. Do I need to connect all three, or can I ?
2. Connect batten 1 and then carry the switched live and loop through the second and stop at the third, or do I?
3. As with No. 2 but return to the switch after batten three
