why use a drillbit when you can just swap the live pin for a neutral one and wire straight into it?

i am a plumber so have not been electrically trained but as it is turned off i would only class that as AR (at risk) not even ID (immediately dangerous) although it is RIDDOR reportable

RIDDOR has some one been hurt
No it's a metal bit and they are drilling into wood ply behind. Just left it there while getting the cordless out :)

Ah, I see it now... the right hand socket is not the right shape to fit the backbox.. the IP rating is comprimised because the corners are open....

I don't think anyone has to be hurt for it to be reportable under the Reporting of Incidents, Diseases and Dangerous Occurance Regulations  .
IIRC this photo is a wind up from some radio operators in the gulf - it has done the rounds a few times!

Look guys, apply common sense,

This is a simple home made single pole Knife Switch where the wooden handle has has yet to be fitted.

I thought you made the report on the fourth day of person being injured. if absent from work.
Unless something nasty has happened :(

Yeh your right part F.
S**t I've got loads of them to do :!:

Ridiculous. That drill bit is far too big. It is clearly bending the prongs on the fuse holder. Amateurs

The drill is too long preventing the replacement of the top.
A .22 caliber bullet would be a better choice.
