Left them to it while we were away. Not sure if its really their problem to neaten telephone wires, etc, but this is what I am left to tidy up

I was thinking of some sort of white trunking glued up under the soffit. Ant ideas?

If it was me I would push the tile up above it, drill a hole under the soffit and re-route it inside and a telephone connector box or similar connector below outside just under the gutter fixed to the fascia board, a bit awkward I know but not impossible and depending how fussy you are

Dunno; still buzzing from taking that pill you recomended 8)

Well not normally fussy but having spent so much on the new look "I" would like it as tidy as possible. Looks like I'll have to cut the wires to go thru the soffit.

Dont know why the phone cable is joined like that (it was done years ago by the look of it). The other cable is tv aerial so easy enough to re-join too.

You don't want to be cutting & rejoining the TV coax. The signal is never the same. Best pull it out (from below) and feed it back through your soffit.

Or better still if it's past its best, put some new digital coax in.

I dont think the cables detract too much from the council house guttering to be honest.

I am not sure if you are trying to be funny or rude, or both. Do tell.

I am sure your mansion looks a lot better than my 19th Century farmhouse. Its all I can afford.

I can see 1 telephone cable but not sure what the others are for, could they be redundant?

It seems there is a phone line going to the socket in the room below, and one coming back from that socket to feed another socket somewhere else in the house. They have been split at some point, for some reason, hence the "join". There is a third telephone cable going to another socket in the office, from when the previous people had a second distinct line installed. This is no longer the case so I could rip that one off. the other cable is telly.

coulds the mods move this to the roofing section please? might get a few more replies. thanks.

I dont read many, tbh, but some people might read them all - who knows. I would have posted it in both places but the mods wouldnt like that either.
