baxi bought potterton a while back

but lefarge already owned baxi

so if borag is buying in watch the standard of the product drop

same as vaillant

and people talk about british industry WHERE

Broag are the dominant Company, it will be interesting to see if Baxi drag them down.

I think, Broag will shut Baxi/Potty down in a year or two

Can see it happening even so.

It's typical, European buys UK Company, the next you know is they are re-structuring, and the UK is closed.

History repeating again.

Yeah, that would be a tradegy for the potterton workforce, I assume in the future Baxi/Potterton boilers will be merely a sticker on the casing of a Broag boiler.................but that should mean the household name Baxipotterton will have a great reputation again..........

not a great deal of difference between a baxi duotec and an avanta anyway.
There's some worthwhile investment in baxi, with their chp and research into hydrogen fuel cells. I don't think they'll close them down. Vaillant are still running glowworm as a cheaper option as I suspect avanta will do with paxi.
