Saving money should not be a major design feature.
Anyway, how/where/in what are you going to mount the contactor?
How are you going to secure the 3 cables going to it?
How will you join the cpcs?
Where will the heater supply come from?
What cable type and size will you be using?
Where will it be routed/installed?
How long is the total run?
I would say that you are spot on with what you assumed. Just make sure that it is a 230v coil and you should really fit a fuse in the 230v used for your coil circuit, right at the start, say 5 amp. Otherwise your control wiring 1mm or 1.5mm would be protected by the heater fuse, would that be around 32A. Your wiring would melt before the fuse blew.

I did something similar today on micro miniature terminal block but I can blame my aging eyes
for that. Took me a while to find why the unit wasn't responding to the input sensor.
