How high are householders allowed to go up a ladder? are we limited like the trades?

i have been pointing my house and have been about 9,5m up in the sky. hard work and feel knackered tonight.

Pretty much as high as the ladder goes!

You need to balance what you save doing something unsafe, against the value of a longer life! When the risks are high some-one somewhere will pay the ultimate price.
