Anyone any tips on removing slight marks on the glaze of a toilet pan? New pan but when the sticky ID label was scraped off a slight mark was left. Can it be polished out or disguised?

You will need a diamond rubber but don't ask me where to get one. Got mine from a rep years ago.

Have you tried an ordinary ink eraser from the stationers? - Cheap and cheerful, and it might just do the job....

Go to a plumbers merchants and get a ceramic rubber, £15.00 ish retail. Should clean it right up! Or try eBay might be cheaper!

They were called bath rubbers when I was a lad.

Fresh, wet grout is mildly abbrasive. I've removed a couple of metal-on-glaze marks with it in the past. Dont go mad with it or you may dull the glaze.
