I must say that it's rather queer to be treated as a newbie or a troll, having posted countless thousands of (hopefully helpful) posts on various fora.

However, this particular unpleasant 'welcome' won't dampen my sense of humour. Someone remind me please, not to post a light-hearted topic on a Friday night on such a miserable forum as this........

Thank you, bhd, that's most kind of you. I really don't mind taking a few knocks from strangers - it amuses me.

I'm afraid I couldn't possibly chase after BAS on this, or any other forum.
I quite like that old bugger. I remember him as Non-Sparky on the IEE Forum, he was a constant source of amusement simply by stating commonsense when the so-called professionals were spouting nonsense.

More power to his elbow, that's what I say. I'm sorry if that's not what you want to hear.
