I was watching the debate last night between the 3 leaders and out of the 3 there was only 1 man who I thought was extremely genuine and really believed in what he was saying.

The person was......................Gordon Brown. Cameron is a programmed dummy who will say anything to get into power and Clegg does not seem up to it in terms of experience or integrity.

Not a Labour fan at all but Brown appears human and sincere.

BTW it does not suit him to smile!

Brown is the one that got us into this mess. More of the same? No thanks.

Not being a fan of Brown, I think that comment is a tad unfair, Brown inherited the poisoned chalice left to him by Blair, the damage was already done.

Wotan

Chancellor Brown ordered the banking regulators to regulate with a 'light touch'. The banks did what they liked and this is what we are left with. No Canadian or Australian bank went bust as their regulators were told to regulate. It's all Brown's fault.

Brown had the most difficult task, the other two told us what they thought we wanted to hear, brown couldn't do that, hes already in the driving seat, the Tory bloke is just a sleazy posh twit from Eton with no idea of normal life and Gleggy sounds good but could get us into a very bad situation the way things are at the moment, otherwise I'd give him my vote, they all just want power, I'm still unsure but will definitely not give the Tories my vote, but they will win and it will be a disaster for this country of this I'm sure.

and it will be a disaster for this country of this I'm sure

The disaster is already with us and has been for the last 13 years. Its called nu labour
Swingeing pay cuts in the public sector have to be made.
If any of the parties who win the election have the bottle to implement the cuts needed , then they can probably rule them selves out from being in power for the next 50 years after the next election.
Yes things will be worse under the Tories but only because of the recklessness of nu labour.
Got my polling card today and a promotion card for one of the parties which is the only one I need. Conservative!

The logic of browns argument is bizarre and banal - 'since we're the one who got us into this mess, were the only ones who can get us out of it.'

I dont fink so..........

If I remember correctly, when GB beacame Chancellor, one of the first things that he did was to create the FSA. This took away the power from the Bank of England to regulate the banks.

Yep, and the next thing he did was to sell British Gold reserves when the price of gold was at an all time low.
If I'd been of the same mind as him at the time, I'd have probably sold my television so I could buy a dvd player.

Sadly it's going to make no difference who gets the power, they are all tarred with the same brush, the Tories will get in and in 12 months time we will be here complaining about the government ;)

...and they'll blame it all on the mess they inherited.

Don't seem to recall anyone mentioning the £200 billion of extra printed money being made available to someone? and how or when and how quick this needs to be paid back or does it?

biggest fault with Labour is they want to try and control every aspect of our lives.

Paralysis by analysis as someone said which is totally bang on. Let the teachers teach, they know want is best for their school. Let nurses nurse, its not rocket science why do they need all of these managers, swap managers for nurses and the nhs would be a better place

Too late! the fact that he could even consider an allegiance with the Tories was enough for me to see RED and not yellow.
