I want to put a blocker on the socket. It was orignaly a two socket but due to bad builders they messed it up can you please help me out because it's very anoying
I can't really work out what happened, what the electrician did, or what remains to be done, but basically you should get him back.I want to put a blocking socket where the orignal one was because I don't want any power to be used through it. I recently dicoverd that there was another socket behind the plaster and they messed it up by putting tape around the wire and there had been a fire behind the wall. We had an electrician come out to it all he said he would do is just put a block socket onto it, he delt with the fire part and that's all sort I just need to know how to place it onto the socket
I do hope that you didn't pay him for the half-a***d job he left half finished because he couldn't be a***d to do it properly.Thank you guys, the last time I saw that electrician he basicaly said that he can't be a***d in doing it because he kept making lies up for why he can't do it

Is he a member of NICEIC or similar? If so, report him.
And report him to Trading Standards too, and if you did pay, and paid in cash, set HMRC on him - tell them he asked you to pay cash to avoid tax. That may seem harsh, but the guy is a dangerous and callous menace - he needs to be shut down by any means possible.
