How quick do people turn their back on you.

Hi just like your opinion on how quick people turn their backs on you whenever you are going through hardship's esp family

has anyone else experienced this?
 
yes but to be honest it will be a good thing in the end, cause you will learn how many "true" friends you actually have/need, it wont be many but you dont need many true friends, and a lot of aquaintancies, friends and family who are in your circle but not too close, however if you win the lottery you will have hundreds of best friends, so think about the couple who look after you now and those are the ones who get lottery dosh, the rest can go and self impregnate
 
as above,i had a few like that over the years.

what goes round comes round.
 
i'd say i have 3 true friends that i can count on and have been around for over 20 years
the rest are just just passing through my life!!
 
Indeed, true friends are hard to come by and it's only when your in the shyt, you find out who they are, but loyal friends more than make up for the rest of the bug-gers.
 
Don't worry Ali, If you win the lottery on Saturday, you'll have friends crawling out of the woodwork to celebrate your good fortune (unless it's forbidden to have a go on the lottery)

That is so bad - true friends are for life, through good times and bad. The amount of money or possessions that you have should not come into the equation.
 
A true friend you would step in front of a moving bus to save you for example, anyone else is an aquaintance. You see these idiots on the likes of Facebook with 200+ friends and you can't help but think the person is starved of attention because I couldn't even name 100 people that I know or would even consider some form of mate.

My family doesn't turn it's back but then again I don't require their assistance, infact they come to me for help or advice rather than me going to them.
 
Its all those bloody haplogroup R1a's, i said you couldn't rely on them..........
