Nope, personal and vast experience, entire sections of the police are corrupt, from the TSG to the Serious Crimes Squad, the Met, SO19, down to individual crooks like this.

Traffic Cops are particular prone to being a bunch of crooked liars.

see, this is exactly why i dont quote sources. the same story is being carried by at least a dozen news sources.

I cant win, can i? if i quote sources i get accused of bias, if i dont quote sources i get accused of plagarism.

Bit of a no win situation for me, isnt it?

you and bolo need to go and have a argument about what you want me to do.

Or you could both just STFU, and ill just carry on posting more articles and therefore provide more entertaining debating material than you two useless lurkers combined.

WTF does it matter which newspaper the story comes from? I read it in the on-line version of the Telegraph.

What really ****es me of (and I have proved it in the past) those who make a habit of maligning the DM are purchasers and avid readers of that particular paper. Sad isn't it? :rolleyes:

that would be a first. most of your stuff seems to come over with a large chip on its shoulder and when someone questions it, you either dont reply, or launch into a tirrade of abuse. :rolleyes:

Regardless of where the story has been sourced, in fairness to the situation, the married woman carried on the affair for a year. Also when it was reported, he was sacked and has bee prosecuted and jailed. What else could the system have done?

Aren't all coppers corrupt and on the take?! This woman in the news today claiming compo for "sexual harassment" is another perfect example.

Back in the 1950s and 60s and again in the late 90s, there can be no doubt that what you say about certain sections of the police was true then and is well documented. Could you provide the evidence which proves that your statement holds true today. I read fairly widely and keep up with the news on television as well as on my computer but can find no evidence of widespread corruption. Perhaps you could provide us with a link?

another very inaccurate sweeping statement :D :D ;)

you would be hard pressed to know or have dealing with even 1 percent off the police in you county
so not shure how such a small sample could leave to to think there are more than a token few the same

i do agree there are rotten eggs in all large organisation but you simply cant say that people you havent met are the same or simmilar ;)
