Removing a rad

I need to remove this rad in order to paper behind it. It seems to have only a single pipe feed.

Will I have to drain the whole system down?
 
Remove the end cap of the lockshield valve (pic 2) you will see a screw underneath, you may need an allen key to turn this screw fully clockwise, (count the number of turns so you know how far to open it when you re-fit) once this valve is closed replace the cap, turn the TRV off FULLY (pic 1)
you can then drain & remove the rad. :wink:
 
looks like plastic pipes if your carefull you can lift the rad up and off the brackets then lie it forward and rest it on something, tin of paint etc.

Bear in mind I dont know how big the rad is might be too heavy
