Hello all,

Due to kids breaking the old one, I plan to put the replacement 40" lcd tv out of harm's way, up on the wall.
Due to the shape of the room, it'll have to be on a cantilever bracket, and facing at 45deg into the room.
The wall is an external one on a 1920's detached house, so 2 leaves of brick, with if anything a 1/2" cavity. I've internally insulated it by fixing 1 x 1 1/2 " laths to the walls with 3" screws and red plugs, 1" polystyrene in between the laths, and plasterboard over the top.

Given it'll be a 40" telly at 45deg, off a cantilever bracket, what sort of fixings would you recommend? M8 x 130mm shield anchors, times about 6? Fisher plugs? Anything else?

Thanks in advance :)

gone silly and done 2 x M8 rods straight through to external, big washers, locknuts, and siliconed over the lot. If the telly goes, the wall's gone too!
