They all look like pieces of qualit kit but which one gets the money.I currently own a bosch SDS DRILL which i,m happy with so maybe go for bosch again but the makita or dewalt......??

Battery or corded - that makes a big difference on manufacturer!

im a makia snob but financially but erbaur or whatever they are called, 2 year guarantee, keep them 23 months and send em back cheap but useable

i was in a local branch last week and the bosch blue lith ion on offer looks and feels like a toy in my opinion. It may be a great bit of kit but personally i wouldnt buy it as it felt cheap

ch427 after much deliberation i purchased the bosch drill from screwfix,
its advertised as being lightweight hence the toy look i have been boarding out my loft and doing some masonary fixing and the drill seems fine , perhaps they dont have to weigh a ton to be of any use

That's the main benefit of Lion over nicd batteries, they hardly weigh anything and make working so much easier.
