I don't often post here but i want as many people as possible to see this tonight and I urge people to copy and paste it around social networking just like the scumbags have been using it to encourage looting and crime, we should be using it to encourage a fight back. This is Enfield Town not more than 1hr ago. I know people who are there and heading there ready to to take care of these thieving dirty scumbags.

i agree micky we the ppl should get out there and tell these little scumbags that the streets are ours every man woman and child who does not take drugs steal or scrounge from the state
we should stand in front of our local shops and not allow these scum to take away our local amenities our shops our community these scum live in our areas
we should knock at theirs/theirs parents doors and tell them we dont want them in our communities anymore lets get tough
and as for this joke of a goverment everything is cut but the cost of living the ppl they have put out of work the rest of us struggling through another recession hoping to outlast it £7.00 for a gallon of petrol/diesel gas/electric up %20 begining to think we should all be rioting

Trouble is, PK, we would just end up fightng, which presumably is something we should discourage.

Maybe we need an Edward Woodward style approach. Everyone stand in front of the stores, but refuse to raise arms. The theory presumably being that violence feeds upon itself, and can be vanquished by cutting of it's "oxygen".

I seriously doubt that those scum would take into consideration that it is a peaceful effort, but just take advantage of the fact that you are an easy target and knife you, rob you, or both.

Thats why its safety in numbers, mate just txt me some pics from enfield, people chatting and mixing with police, having a bit of a sing song, but its all good spirited and there's no trouble. Enfield is safe tonight and hopefully our game is on now on saturday. Don't worry toffees, we'll look after you

All due respect, but I've got friends there and I'll quite happily join them if they needed me, as it is its peaceful, and they are local and gonna be able to walk 5mins home. For me its more of a hassle getting down and back. If there was any problems in my town I would be out there like a shot. But then we have a whole chain of people linked by family, friends and our football club all the way up the A10 corridor. We'll all help each other as and when, but as it is there is enough local prescence there right now that it doesn't need any outside influence. I see your point, but hopefully I've addressed it.
edit: should mention I will be in tottenham saturday providing they let the game go ahead and probably stay there well in to the evening.

I think the game has been cancelled hasnt it? Think they said something about it on the news.
At the end of the day there is no way I would put my life in the balance to go out and fight a lot of angry looters in order to save a shops contents or a pubs windows, that just doesnt compute with me.
