B&Q £200 cement mixer - anyone used it?

My current project is taking a bit longer than I planned (thanks, British Summer). It's costing me money to hire a cement mixer that spends all day in the garden whilst I am at work, so I'm thinking of buying one, and then selling it once I'm done with it.

I'm afraid there's no link on B&Q site, I've only seen it in-store. Have any of you used one of these recently, and if so, what are you opinions of it? Sorry for lack of information (eg capacity - I think it was 90Ltr)

I don't really want to spend much more than £200 if I can help it

I bought the Wickes one which was about £200 last year but I now see it's advertised at £250. It's worked perfectly. As you only want it for one job before selling, why not try and buy a secondhand one in the first place?

personally, I'd buy a belle minimix 150, ok, it will cost about £350 but keep it clean once you've used it, and you will sell it for at least £300 on ebay second hand, much cheaper than hiring and I'm sure it will be a lot easier to sell a Belle mixer (loved by builders) on ebay than it would be to sell a Wickes mixer,

Also much much easier to get spare parts for the Belle mixer if you end up keeping it forever

can only echo the comments about the belle mixer they are fantastic and you will definitely recoup majority of the money spent

True about the Belle.

You simply can not kill one.

Ours at present is approx 20yrs old and has a cracked gearbox that leaks oil and is on its second drum that has been repaired no end.

I even bought a new replacement two years ago thinking the old girl wouild die but she won't quit.

Ditto, to the previous comments about the Belle mimimix.

My first Belle, bought second hand, about 6 years ago, still going strong, after building the workshop and double garage in the UK, then over here it's on it's 4th year of renovating the house.

I bought another, again, second hand, last winter for the extension in the UK, because a) I was fed up bringing it back and forth and b) I thought the older one here would die soon, but it's still going strong, although getting a bit noisier now.

The Wickes one for £250 is a Belle. It's a Master/Mini mix 130
