It'll cost a small fortune in carriage, VAT, duty and import agents fees.

It won't have a guarantee.

It might not work on UK electricity.

On the upside it will 'irradiate' you up to 60' from the cameras.

ebay are full of these "Sony" cameras......

They may have 1 component in them made by Sony but thats about it. A bit like a calculator may have a chip inside it made my intel. It doesnt make it the latest gaming computer....

You'll get what you pay for with that sort of kit. Not many people will endorse that kit on here. Although other DIYers have bought it and been happy with the outcome..

Some times cheap cost of kit doesnt equal value for money.

Well, as long as your happy with it.

Snobbery?

Fitting cheap tat compared to professional equipment is snobbery?

Okay then.

Hmm since when has posting some info on a product you own for around the same money been a problem!!
He asked about a cctv system and the one i have i cant fault. If you want to spend £500 on a system be my guest but for home use its more than adequate. it must be that time of year the idiots are about!!

And you cannot fault it compared to what?

Have you fitted many systems?
500+ camera systems?
Any?

We were asked a question and in our view it is not up to the job we need.
Are we to say, well it looks okay. Is cheap, but will lack in night time and movement detection? Will flare up in bright light and low sun ( winter does that, but you wont care or know will you).

So if someone asks if it is okay, we judge it from a professional view. Not that it is pretty.
