What did you do in your 2 days off?

I did DIY... put Ikea units together and then sorted through loads of carp in the old drawers.... seemed to take forever...

My weekend consisted of fault finding on a shower that had been installed with no cold water feed, that was fun. Ripping boards off and installing a feed to the shower, tiled bathroom, leaking bath and all the remedial work, plus installing an inspection hatch for isolation valves that were also hidden behind a plastered wall.
Did go out for a meal last night though, £9 for two groupon thing.

Went to visit an ex resident from the care home where I work. Played in the House Champion darts competition at the local Saturday night. Got knocked out in the quarter finals of the singles and lost in the doubles final, but won £20 for being in the final. Took the missus to the medical walk in centre today (she has laryngitis so nice and quiet ) and made Sunday dinner (roast beef and all the trimmings) Took the dog out for his walks a couple of times, both days, (walked for miles). Now sat here having a nice cool glass of lager and watching Family Guy before bed.

Saturday went ice skating with the grandaughters at the Eden Project gave it a whirl myself, attempted to skate backwards (and that is not easy) and had a great time.
Lazy Sunday....did a bit of writing on my book.... then nice roast dinner .......excellent !
