rendering on plywood

As you can see there are many ways to do it. i would paper wire and render it, other people reccomend other ways, so its up to you!
isnt this the same as rendalath? Double paper backing with square lathing.
As you say there is more than one way to do the job but for a little extra i would rwther rlath it, make sure you overlap the sheets by at least 100mm and hammer lots of nails in and use corner/angle beads on all your corners. This will stop any cracking and will provide a suitable for this job and over kill for a garage

Not really, big difference in price for a start :0)

No problem cowboy

Well that depends on how you look at it...

rendalath is not ideal for this job and overkill for a garage.

The difference isn't rocket science...

I would only use the wire lath on smaller areas wouldnt use it on something as big as a whole garage. Reason i would use rendalath is it completly covers all the wood so none of it is exposed. Regardless if its a better option or not i certainly wouldnt do it ur way just because its cheaper

Well I would lath and lime it, but we are advising others and mre often than not the cost comes into it. Wire lath is good for a garage and will last just as long a rendalath.

Objective can be reached with all methods, quality of finish will not degrade with either product, one is just more cost effective.

I would use lath and lime because the products are more enviro friendly, better for the enviroment is a consideration and is becoming more of a request these days.

Silcosan flex system for a roller applied render to plywood structures.

I was trying to find out about this but can't find anything. Ended up here where I always go at first anyway didn't see the post earlier.
